ScenePass — Terms of Service

Effective date: August 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ScenePass iOS application ("ScenePass", the "App"), operated by COVISO GmbH ("we", "us"). By using ScenePass you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

ScenePass is an entertainment app for watching short-form drama series. A configured opening block of episodes in each series is free to watch; further episodes are unlocked with a virtual currency called Coins.

2. Accounts

ScenePass does not require registration. On first launch the App creates a guest account bound to your device. Deleting the App's local data (Profile → "Clear local data…") or removing the App starts a fresh guest account; server-side records connected to the previous account are not automatically transferred. Contact support if you need help relinking a purchase.

3. Coins

Coins are a virtual item licensed to you for use inside ScenePass only. Coins are not money, have no monetary value outside the App, are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may not be resold. Episode unlock prices in Coins are shown in the App before you spend. Your Coin balance is maintained on our servers. Except where required by applicable law or by Apple's refund policies, Coins and unlocked episodes are non-refundable once granted or spent.

4. Purchases, subscriptions, and Coin packs

Coins are obtained through in-app purchases processed by Apple using your Apple Account. We offer:

Subscriptions renew automatically every week and your Apple Account is charged the displayed renewal price within 24 hours before the current period ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time in your device Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. At most two subscriptions (one from each subscription group) can be active at the same time. Prices are shown in the App in your local currency as provided by the App Store. Introductory prices, where offered, apply to the first billing period only. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Content

The series, artwork, and story content in ScenePass are original audiovisual works commissioned and produced for the App using generative AI tools, and are protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to stream the content inside the App for private, non-commercial use. You may not copy, record, download, redistribute, publicly perform, or create derivative works from the content.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the App or its servers, circumvent locks or payment mechanics, use automated tools against the service, or use the App for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access that violates these Terms or abuses the service.

7. Changes to the service

The catalogue, features, Coin mechanics, and prices may change over time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.

8. Disclaimers and liability

ScenePass is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
